By accessing and using CheckWriter, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

CheckWriter provides a browser-based tool for creating, customizing, and printing checks on blank check stock. The service is provided "as is." Check designs are generated locally in your browser; if you create a free account, saved check templates are stored securely so you can access them later.

CheckWriter is a document-formatting and printing tool only. We are not a bank, payment processor, or financial institution, and we do not verify funds, process payments, or guarantee that any check will be honored by a bank. The Check 21 Act permits printing checks on blank stock; you are solely responsible for having sufficient funds, authorization, and compliance with your bank's requirements for any check you create.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not use the service to create fraudulent, forged, or misleading checks
  • Ensure you have the right to use any images, logos, or signatures you upload
  • Take full responsibility for the checks you create, print, and distribute, including having sufficient funds and authorization

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you create using our service. The CheckWriter application, including its design and functionality, remains our intellectual property.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckWriter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
